October Nails

A few nail options for October..

I'm not a huge fan of Halloween, but I thought the green&black combo was rather.. Halloween-y?  lol

Ehh.. they're pretty messy & smeared. I was i n a bit of a hurry doing these. =P

I love orange! I think orange is an essential fall color. It carries over  well from summer:)

Nails!

Hey! I was feeling inspired to do something fun with my nails today. I recently saw pictures of a wedding where the colors of the bridesmaid dresses were coral & turquoise, and I LOVED the combination! So I decided to try to do something like that with my nails. :)

I love polka dots, so I experimented with my DIY skills and this is what I came up with!
(TIP: Use a nail file on the ends of the toothpick to make it flat. Doing this makes it easier to make a polka dot, and the dot will be a more perfect circle.) 

For my first design I just put the polish dots directly onto my nail. Pour a little of the polish onto a paper plate, some thick paper, wax paper, whatever works. Then dip the filed end of the toothpick into the polish, and then apply it to your nail! Easy enough, right? Put it in whatever pattern your heart desires, I focused mainly on the tips for mine. But you could definitely do it all over your nails. :)

This one is my current favorite, I think it's a little on the summer-y side, but I love summer.. soo...;)
I painted my entire nail with the coral color (obviously..) and then used a filed toothpick to make a band of dots near the tips. I think it's cute:)

Long Overdue....

So.. I've been REALLY bad at posting lately.  It has been over a month since my last post.
But I have to admit.. it's mostly because I have a new addiction to Pinterest, it's like the coolest website ever. Seriously.  When I'm not doing school, sitting at my piano, or with friends & family, you could probably find me either Pinterest-ing or trying out something new that I saw on there. :)

I've had alot of fun trying out new hairstyles, nail designs, recipes, decorating ideas, makeup techniques, everything! It's cool. I used to think that I was kinda creative until I saw the neato things that people are posting on there!

Welllll annyywayyss.. I'm like.. really bored right now! hahah I love lazy Friday nights, but not as much as I love busy Friday nights with my friends. Those are much more fun.
Some of my favorite things to do on a Friday night {yep, another list!} :
1. Hangout with friends..my boyfriend..family..or several families:)
2. Go out for FOOD. haha I love to eat! We have alot of cool places to go around here. My favorites are the chocolate cafe (they have amazing mochas), the new frozen yogurt place, and a good old-fashioned diner-style burger joint.

3. Watch a movie {or two..} with my friends/boyfriend/family/whoever is on my good side.
4. NOT go to the mall, or bowling, or WalMart, or the movie theater.
