I had to go to the store and buy makeup, wow..ouch!! I can't believe how much we girls spend on making ourselves pretty. But most of us won't go without it, so we'll spend the money on it. I was glad that I had some coupons though, they helped alot. I hate buying beauty products without a coupon or a sale, otherwise I feel like I'm spending wayyy too much! I really don't love spending money, but I love shopping!! Another thing I love about summer: buying new flipflops. I love them! I try to buy a few new colors every year, I'm slowly building my rainbow flipflop collection. ;o)
So I have a pretty funny (yet incredibly embarassing if you were me!!) story for you. So I had a date the other night with the cutest guy EVER. Oh my goodness. I was so excited about it, and I planned my outfit for it like three days in advance, practiced hairstyles all week, and even bought new eyeshadow. So what happens the day of the date? I wake up with a ginormous, massive, monstrous zit that appeared on my chin while I was sleeping. NO!!! And of course it's the kind that you just can't miss. Uggghhh.. I have pretty decent skin, so a monster zit like that seriously stands out and nothing I put on it helps at all. So here I am, it's the day of my date, and I have a zit big enough to have its very own zipcode.
Anyways, the date itself went really well..except that I could totally see him checking it half the time! Sooo embarassing!!!! I don't blame him though, it was a beast. He's a really nice guy, so of course he doesn't say anything and acts like he doesn't notice.. but someone would have to be blind not to see it. To top it off, when I got home I realized that I had somehow maaged to decorate my shirt with mustard.. Lovely.
But it was overall a great night, despite my the bruising of my pride, it was really amazing. (And he still called me after it was over!!!!!) ♥
